Past Conferences
I have attended four conferences. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, three of those meetings were attended online.
The first was a presentation entitled “Estimation of urinary nitrogen excretion using partial urine in Black Japanese fattening cattle” at the 58th Hokkaido Congress of the Japanese Beef Cattle Research Association in November 2021. It was my first time to participate in a conference and online, but my presentation was highly evaluated and I received the “Beef Cattle Research Association Encouragement Award” (part of the presentation slides are shown below. (The following is a part of the slide of the presentation, which is now being prepared for submission for publication.)
The second was a presentation entitled “Estimation of urinary purine metabolite excretion using partial urine in Black Japanese fattening cattle” in the Tokai Livestock Breeding Society Research Presentation in December 2021 (part of presentation slides below, in preparation for submission for publication). (The following is a part of the presentation slides, which are being prepared for submission for publication).
The third was a presentation entitled “Prediction of total-tract starch digestibility using fecal starch content in fattening Japanese Black cattle” at the 130th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Animal Science in September 2022. The presentation was given in English for the first time. This was the first time for me to make a presentation in English, and I was able to receive an award.
And the fourth was a presentation titled “Preliminary study on estimation of starch digestibility and determination of starch content in feces using object detection in Black Japanese fattening cattle” at the 59th Beef Cattle Research Association Wakayama Congress in November 2022.
