Report on the International Conference in France

EAAP 2023 – Lyon 2023 EAAP Annual Meeting

　The audience included livestock researchers from countries all over the world, and many discussions were held.

Technical tour

　After the conference, I participated in a technical tour organized by the conference and visited farmers. In France, the Charolais breed is mainly fattened as beef cattle, and unlike the Japanese black cattle, the Charolais breed has a pure white body.

Visit to the University of Burgundy

　I moved to the town of Dijon, France to visit the University of Burgundy. It was a very valuable experience for us to observe and assist the research of a professor at the University of Burgundy.

Towns in France

　Naturally, the streets of France are quite different from those in Japan, and all the traditional buildings were breathtaking. I would like to visit France again in the future if I have the chance.
