Presentation at The Japanese Society of Agricultural Machinery and Food Engineers (JSAM)

I participated in the 82nd Annual Meeting of the Society of Agricultural and Food Engineering, held at the Faculty of Agriculture, Yamagata University, from September 7 to September 9, 2024 (第82回 農業食料工学会 年次大会 (2024年 山形大学農学部)の講演要旨について | 一般社団法人農業食料工学会 (j-sam.org)). I gave a research presentation titled “Prediction of Fecal Starch Content in Fattening Cattle through Optimization of Preprocessing of Near-Infrared Spectral Data and Machine Learning Models.”

There were many presentations involving AI and agricultural machinery, which were highly stimulating for me, as someone who has studied animal nutrition. I was fortunate to receive feedback from participants, complimenting the high level of my research. I also plan to present my research at the 40th Near-Infrared Forum, which will be held at the University of Tokyo in November.

Currently, with the widespread use of tools like ChatGPT, anyone can code. As a result, I believe that in the future, the focus will shift from coding skills alone to demonstrating real-world applications, such as the development of agricultural machinery, leveraging those coding skills. I intend to keep up with these trends and continue advancing my research.
