Matamura Masaya, Graduate School of Bioresources, 3rd year of Doctoral course, Grassland and Forage Production, responsible teacher: Associate Professor Makoto Kondo

After graduating from an agricultural high school, I studied cattle breeding methods at an agricultural university for one year. Then, in order to learn more about cattle, I enrolled in the Faculty of Bioresources at Mie University(Mie University | Mie University English Homepage (mie-u.ac.jp)). I was interested in research that would improve the productivity of cattle, the source of beef, and joined the Grassland and Feed Production Laboratory. There, I study the extent to which cattle utilise the starch that we normally consume from rice and corn meal.
